Join Ford in Supporting Communities Affected by Southern California Fires

Our hearts go out to those affected by the devastating fires in Southern California. Ford has always shown up for communities, and we are committed to being there for the greater Los Angeles area now and over the long journey ahead.

Our first priority remains the safety of our affected employees, dealers and their teams. To the best of our knowledge, all are safe and accounted for at this time and we are immensely thankful for that.

We are also in close touch with our longtime partners American Red Cross, Feeding America and Team Rubicon, who are providing food, shelter and other forms of emergency assistance. They are doing an amazing job, and we are proud to support their work.

Today, Ford and Ford Philanthropy, are announcing two additional contributions to help address urgent community needs:

In addition, Ford Credit has already agreed to offer a payment extension for affected customers.

These contributions build on the company's substantial, ongoing support for our partners on the ground. We know Southern California is facing a difficult aftermath, and we are committed to supporting our partners as they help rebuild the impacted communities.

"We will continue to do everything we can to help, and right now, our focus is on urgent, critical needs — that includes helping to ensure the firefighters and first responders who are risking their lives are cared for and supported," said Ford President and CEO Jim Farley. "Our thoughts are with the people of the greater Los Angeles area as they take on the long road ahead of them."

Farley has spoken with Ford employees, dealers, and friends in the area, some of whom have evacuated or lost their homes, to convey his concern and seek input on ways we can help.

"Helping communities recover and rebuild from disasters is not just what we do as a philanthropy, it's who we are as a company," said Mary Culler, president of Ford Philanthropy. "It's heart-breaking to see the scale of how much people have lost. We will continue to support Southern California long after the current attention fades, as we are doing with other communities affected by disasters globally."

Many Ford employees have already reached out to offer help and, as always, we are grateful for their generous, caring spirit. Please see below for ways to contribute:
